Wirtshaus Dorfratsch in Reit im Winkl

Unfortunately we waited exactly 55 minutes for two schnitzel today. After 40 minutes the explanation came, "Slips of paper were swapped." Other guests also waited at least 30 minutes for their food, others more than 15 minutes for drinks. About two thirds of the restaurant was occupied by guests. The kitchen and service staff are overwhelmed when it comes to speed. When I asked how the restaurant would make up for the mistake, the waitress only had a smile. It would have been polite and professional to give a small token of apology, e.g. Drinks on the house or an espresso for free. Too bad. Although the food was good and the service was friendly, the waiting time for the food was unreasonably long. The restaurant is therefore not recommended.

Cozy good food friendly staff and a must if you are in Reit in Winkel.

Unfriendly service. Paying customers are addressed loudly and inappropriately. The economy is clearly overwhelmed with a stressful situation when the store is full. We didn't go in at all. Other guests reported outside that they were also rude and the food was "ok". We advise you against it. There are nicer restaurants in riding :)

Super delicious German food and wonderful Bavarian atmosphere! We felt totally comfortable here and are satisfied with the price-performance ratio and the speed and friendliness of the service.

Very tasty, but the price-performance ratio isn't right. The salad should be included in the prices. We had hunter schnitzel with spaetzle. My son then took an apple strudel because the portion was too small for him.

We sat at a small round table less than 50cm from the next table. That wasn't enough for us in corona times and we sat at a table with more distance. The waitress shouted that we weren't allowed to move because of corona. We then paid for our drink and left

This establishment serves traditional Bavarian cuisine-whilst I cannot recommend the dumplings unfortunately, my family enjoyed their meals. The interior was cosy and welcoming, and the staff were lovely.

Very tasty food, good home-style cooking. Adequate portions, not so excessive plates. Very nice service and nice ambience.

In the past few years have always been happy to eat here.Food quality has unfortunately deteriorated now.(Fried potatoes were mushy and it wasn't nice anymore).Waiter under stress.Getting wrong drinks delivered ...and the starters were also forgotten.To the restaurant itself:The outer facade has changed significantly in the entrance area and the kitchen is now visible. It has become a little more modern.Conclusion: Hopefully, the modern flair will not lose the old flair and the quality of the food. Then the guests don't just come to eat once 😉

Not recommendable!!!!!Locally probably very appealing and service friendly .... but the food 😳 .... I ordered and got liver with puree and braised apple slices and roasted onions: not cooked through and chunks of liver, mashed potatoes from the bag (Aldi !) and raw onions .... bah ugh! Didn't even want to give it to my dog. If you want to choose a different side dish, you have to pay a surcharge of two euros, for four people it is easy. Bavarian cuisine is different!I still choke when I think about it!

Here the guest is the focus!We have enjoyed coming to the village gossip for years and are always very satisfied. The chefs as well as all the waitresses are always very friendly and meet every request! You just have to remember that you are always welcome here, hot food all day and every day of the week, which is not the case in most other restaurants in Reit im Winkl. It speaks for itself that the restaurant is full every evening.

Good Bavarian cuisine, quaint inside. Once had the Dorfratschschnizel, Dorfratschgrillteller and a Hänchenschnizel. You get the fries in small cups.

I went there twice within a week. The 2nd time because it was very good the 1st time. If it had been our 2nd time, it would have been a visit. Unfortunately, the second visit was not good and you can not speak of a constant quality despite the same food. Maybe different cooks were there.
